Celtic Astrology is based on the 13 Sign Lunar Zodiac of the Ancient Druids. In Celtic Astrology, the Druids of Ancient Britain identified the Moon as being at the centre of the cosmos, and the Sun was a symbol of regeneration. The Moon is personified by the cosmic creatix Ceridwen and the Sun is characterised as the Celtic god Taliesin.
Each lunar month is associated with one of the 13 trees sacred to the Druids. The contemporary name of the tree can be found below alongside it’s Celtic name and Celtic sign. Here we provide details of the dates for each of these lunar months as well as the Celtic symbol and the Ruling Planet. Each lunar month also has an Ancient God associated and here you will find the names of both the Greek and Celtic gods.
There are many other dates you may find for Celtic Astrology which may be different to these compiled here. We believe these to be the correct dates as defined by practicing astrologer Helena Patterson.
