Glass Walls

"If slaughterhouses had glass walls everyone would be vegetarian." Sir Paul McCartney. Unfortunately they don't have glass walls and barbaric practices in the slaughter of animals for human consumption is getting worse. A graphic new video has been produced by Sir Paul McCartney and PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and I urge you to view it. Those who eat meat should be aware of what is happening. Consider becoming a vegetarian - it's not a dirty word - it's a healthy one and one that benefits not only us but also the animals and the planet. See the video here on PETA's website. Proudly supporting the Girls Night In...

Willowtree Gift Shop was contacted in early September 2009 by Kate requesting a donation to support an Adelaide Girls Night In fund-raising event for Cancer Council research. It was my pleasure to provide Kate with one of our beautiful Peaceful Buddha statues to be raffled for the occasion. I wish them all the best for the event and hope that our beautiful Buddha will assist in raising funds for this vital research.

We have some divine new Illumination Mandala Sunseals in stock. We've moved some of the latest and new designs to a new category and reduced the price of the older designs.
